• Do I have to reserve the Tour?

  Yes, we are very popular!
  Reserve your bike tour on our booking system or send us an email.

• What is included in the bike tour?

  The price includes rental of a bike, helmet, water bottle and raincoat, a tour guide who accompanies you on the entire tour and a special souvenir.

• How many people go on a bike tour?

  A maximum of 15 people can ride on our tours.
  If you want a private tour, please send us an e-mail.

• Do I have to be an avid cyclist to join a bike tour?

  Don’t worry, this is not an amazing race.
  We ride at a leisurely pace.

• Do I have To Wear A Helmet?

  Yes! We will provide you a fashionable street-style helmet that you can wear with pride. Safety is really important to us.

• What is the minimum age for joining a tour?

  The minimum age is 13, People under 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardians at time of bike tour.

• Is it safe to travel by bike in Sao Paulo?

  Cycling is safe in Sao Paulo, which has 468 km of bike lanes. Our tours travel along these bike lanes nearly all the time. You will cycle with guides from Sao Paulo who cycle in the city every day and know the safest routes.

• Can I book a tour just for my family and friends?

  Yes. You can join one of our regularly scheduled tours OR you can book a private tour if you want to ride with just your group. Send an e-mail to info@urbanbikesp.com.

• What if it rains?

  Urban Bike SP rides come rain or shine. However, if you like, we can change the day of the tour, but we cannot refund your money unless you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• What should I wear?

  Keep an eye on the weather before you come for the ride and make sure to wear confortable clothing. We recommend bringing layers, since it can get hotter along the way.

• Do you speak English?

  Yes! And we can teach you a few useful phrases in Portuguese along the way too.

• What is your cancellation policy?

  We understand that unexpected things can change your plans. Urban Bike SP will offer you a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour.
  No refunds are given for any reason in the case of cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the start of your scheduled tour.
  Please note also that our meeting times are absolute and that if you are late and miss the meeting time on your reservation, we might not be there waiting for you. So it is very important that you arrive on time if you intend to joint our tour.

• Can I rent the bike?

  No, our bikes are only for use on our tours.

• Can I get a T-shirt?

  Yes, you can buy a T-shirt as a souvenir after the bike tour directly from your tour guide or by visiting our website. Our shirts are amazing! : )
